Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in the Dietary department of our restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu planning
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
