Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about oral health and patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and passing instruments to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring and trimming models
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical record systems (such as Epic)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Provide support to the front office staff as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (such as CAD) and medical imaging technology
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and performing patient assessments
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy towards patients

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
