General Information :

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a HR Administrative Assistant to join its team. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the Human Resources team to increase employee engagement and play a key role in executing plant initiatives.

The HR Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary administrator for payroll and expense-related tasks.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Must be able to review and approve timecards, compute wages, reconcile wages, overtime, and other types of pay with accuracy and company compliance.
  • Assist Human Resources team with new hire orientation.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to identify, schedule interviews, and onboard temporary employees.
  • Filing of employee documents, creating employee files, handling of employee attendance occurrence administration.
  • Employee training and data input such as new hire documentation tracking and filing.
  • Process HR Service tickets.
  • Suggest measures to improve customer service.
  • Provide employee customer service and support.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.

Your Background :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing with 1 year of experience, or Associate degree in business administration, finance, marketing with 3 years’ experience, or High school diploma with 5 years' experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
