Hire Up Staffing Services is Hiring an Office administrator Near Charleston, SC

Hire up Staffing is seeking a responsible Office Administrator at leading freight company. This person will be responsible for overseeing the office functions as well as being the face of the office greeting customers and visitors.

Pay is up to $17 / hr DOE

This is a 100% onsite opportunity

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, taking messages and transferring calls as necessary.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and sorting mail.
  • Ship and receive general packages using USPS, FedEx and UPS
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members, as requested.
  • Light accounting function as needed.
  • General Data Entry using Microsoft Excel
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient communication and operations.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to security and confidentiality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the freight or transportation industry is a plus but not required.
