DLV Roofing Systems, Inc., is the premier roofing company and fully licensed and insured general contractor.W= We happily serve both residential and commercial customers out of our Mills River, NC, Charleston, SC, Austin, TX, and Dallas, TX, offices.

Job Summary:

This role includes a variety of administrative duties that help keep DLV flowing smoothly every day. This role reports directly to the General Manager of the branch.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None

Primary Duties:

● Responsible for answering office phone and responding to company voicemails for general questions/problems.

● Support General Manager with implementing office policies by establishing standards and procedures and making necessary adjustments.

● Provides historical reference by following procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

● Maintains office efficiency by supporting GM with implementing of office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.

● Accepts payments via mail and over the phone, posts and deposits payments per GAAP and banking guidelines and requirements.

● Pays bills as instructed by the Finance Team & local GM.

● Serves as Secretary for company-wide meetings and monthly safety meetings; prepares needed written materials, distributes materials; records, composes, and distributes minutes via email while storing hard copies in main Safety Meeting notebook

● Takes inventory of standard office supplies quarterly and presents order to Management for approval prior to processing

● Purchases and arranges relative event materials for birthdays, special events, company luncheons, etc.

● Supports GM in ensuring that all roof staff have their certifications and are kept up to date, including records management.

● Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with accurate and efficient work.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

● Proficient with or able to quickly learn QuickBooks Online.

● Proficient with or able to learn CRM software.

● Proficient with basic accounting to support GM & work with Finance Team

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to follow all written and verbal policies, procedures and instructions that are implemented by Management.

● Interpersonal and customer service skills

● Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Preferred Experience:

● Associate degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of high school diploma and documented experience in all areas set forth herein.

● Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.

Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

● Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.74 - $20.06 per hour
