Hire Resolve US - Executive Personnel Agency is Hiring an Environmental Project Manager Near Reno, NV
Responsibilities:
- The work includes field and office work.
- Examples of work include Phase I & Phase II site assessments, industrial hygiene assessments, and sampling of soil, groundwater, or air
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned sector; recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency; manage staff utilization and profitability
- Track personnel actions and staff development including support for recruiting and hiring and training measures for assigned staff
- Lead and manage quality control, including assurance that quality work is planned and organized through a pro-active project management system, and implements corrective measures as needed
- Provide hands-on mentoring and team participation to create a bridge between technical resources and client requirements and ensure there is appropriate leadership and supervision engaged on technical assignments
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write technical reports and proposals
- Ability to perform field work requiring physical exertion
- Capable of multitasking; and
- Good driving record acceptable to company's insurer
- 5 - 10 years of experience as an environmental scientist or Geologist
- Salary: $75K/yr - $115K/yr negotiable
