Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of aviation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, implementing effective solutions to ensure project success.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project team members, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management. A focus on aviation construction projects is a plus.
- Two to three years of supervisory experience, leading a staff team of multiple managers, project engineers, administrators
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects within budget and schedule constraints.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to aviation facilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Procore, Vista, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Ability to relocate as necessary.
