We are seeking a Front Desk Clerk to join our team at a hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties: - Greet guests and provide them with outstanding customer service - Check guests in and out of the hotel - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Assist with reservations and room assignments - Process payments and maintain accurate records - Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options - Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports - Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring access to the hotel - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area Requirements: - Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role preferred - Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly desirable - Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality management - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism - Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus - Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software (MS Office, reservation systems) - Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts Joining our team as a Front Desk Clerk offers several benefits, including competitive pay, opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality industry, and a positive work environment.
