THE BEAUTIFULI NEW, SOON-TO-OPEN Home2 Suites in Kokomo, IN is looking for a reliable, responsible individual to join the Front Desk Team as a Night Auditor.

BASIC PURPOSE:

To process all end-of-day financial reports for the property, as well as performing all basic guest service/front desk functions as needed and requested.

FUNCTIONS/REPSONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all end-of-day processing of hotel financial records
• As directed by supervisor, may be required to perform numerous computer-related tasks such as:
• Enter invoices for payment
• Handle direct-bill invoicing and emailing
• Assisting with basic clerical tasks to assist the sales, revenue and marketing efforts
• Perform all guest service/front desk functions as required to accommodate guest arrival, stay, and departure
• Deliver guest invoices
• Assist in other departments when the need arises, as directed by supervisor. This may include, but is not limited to:
• Assisting with breakfast set up or clean-up
• Assisting with basic property cleanliness such as trash removal, snow and ice removal, lobby cleanliness and public restroom cleanliness
• Assisting with laundry and housekeeping functions
• When needed, assist other departments and employees with any tasks requested by a supervisor or manager

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Education: High School education or equivalent experience.

Experience: Previous experience in the hotel industry as Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor preferred but not necessarily required. Much experience is gained from on-the-job training

• Promptness and exceptional attendance is required
• Requires a working knowledge of the Front Desk aspect of Sun's services, policies or operations and a general knowledge of the hotel.
• Requires knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
• When needed, assist other departments and employees with any tasks requested by a supervisor or manager

Hours Required:

• 8-hour shift typical; Scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Weekends and Holidays may be required.
• This position is a typically overnight position, but employee may be asked to cover other shifts when needed
• Must adhere to the time and attendance policies set forth by the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
