Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen
- Assist with meal planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Monitor food quality and presentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Basic knife skills and culinary knowledge preferred
