We’re searching for bright, driven interns currently in their Junior or final year of undergraduate study, and we’ve crafted an exclusive 10-week journey that will take your financial expertise to a whole new level. Designed to fully immerse you into the financial operations that keep our Hotel Property Portfolio thriving. A 360-view rotational program that exposes you to the various facets of accounting and finance from corporate accounting, internal controls, property finance operation and analysis. This is a onsite position based out of our coprorate office in New York and rotating to the properties. 

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Accounting and Finance, Treasury, Internal Controls leadership team in a rotational finance internship opportunity
• Participate in month end close process, prepare journal entries, reconciliations and month end financial statements
• Provide support on treasury, financial modelling, planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reviews
• Gain an understanding of SOX, internal controls, audit processes and procedures
• Assist with various projects as needed
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance (in progress) or a similar degree
• Minimum Junior status
• Knowledge of accounting and/or finance principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and reports) and PowerPoint skills
• Must be organized with the ability to work accurately in a time efficient manner
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June 10th - August 16th 2024)
• You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work a hybrid schedule
• Salary - $20/hr for 40 hour week/ 10 weeks
