Position Overview: Hickory Farms has an exciting new opportunity for a passionate, data-driven digital marketing specialist that will report directly to the Director of Performance Marketing. In this role, this person will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to support digital campaigns, monitor performance, identify opportunities, and communicate results for multiple brands. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review campaign performance across paid media channels and make recommendations on improvements and identify new opportunities for testing
  • Lead process for development of digital marketing assets - writing briefs, reviewing creative, gaining approvals, and partnering with agencies on deployment
  • Research keyword trends and help identify new opportunities, working with SEO partners and internal teams
  • Support reporting needs and pull key insights from dashboards to inform internal decision-making
  • Support Director of Performance Marketing in the execution of catalog circulation planning tactics
  • Stay informed of emerging digital trends, identify ones that are applicable to our business model and partner with the agencies to prove them out.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in digital marketing, agency experience a plus
  • Knowledge of digital metrics and KPIs, including paid search, paid social, affiliate and SEO
  • Creative problem solver able to quickly identify concerns, evaluate the situation, and recommend solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team and agencies
  • Experience with media measurement tools 
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and tag management
  • Experience with B2C ecommerce brands a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Must be able to complete the “essential job functions” with “reasonable accommodations” and meet all the mandatory qualifications under the ADA guidelines.

  • Long hours on a computer keyboard
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
  • Must be able to perform essential physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
