Job description

The Team:

The Visual Merchandising team supports HOP through the strategic display of product for our network of stores, the procurement of PLV to best highlight merchandise, and oversees the windows program -the whimsical and artistic expression by which clients are invited to discover our stores.

The Opportunity:

As the Windows Logistics Manager, you will organize, coordinate, and oversee the four quarterly window rollouts each year, ensuring a consistent and qualitative implementation across the store network. You will report into the Senior Director of VM, East and will regularly liaise with several parties including: the Windows Manager, who oversees creative process and design, the Visual Merchandising team, local production and freelance installation teams, Store Directors, and the Distribution Center.

About the Role:

  • Work with Windows Manager, Senior Director of VM, and VP of Visual Design and Merchandising, to develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date windows installation calendar, in partnership with Regional VM Managers and store teams.
  • Travel to execute and oversee select window installations across the network; gathering feedback, identifying opportunities to improve props and install process, and flag architectural or maintenance issues as they pertain to the physical windows themselves.
  • Participate in production site visits to understand window prop development, give feedback regarding potential installation issues, and work towards a more qualitative final product.
  • Work directly with the Distribution Center and shipping partners to improve pick-up, transport, and delivery process; also establishing an effective tracking system for deliveries.
  • Provide regular, qualitative feedback and images to Senior Director of VM, East and Windows Manager.
  • Communicate with local freelance installation teams the specifics regarding window installations, anticipating needs, advising on necessary tools, and on the install process.
  • Travel to support other regions as needed.
  • Assist with new store opening and renovation project window installs as needed.
  • Adhere to and manage T&E budget and expenses.
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor.

    • On-site judgement calls and problem-solving during window installations, as needed.
    • Contribute to the decision-making process regarding the validation of prototype window props, as it relates to install challenges or physical window constraints.

About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years of visual merchandising, window installation, production fabrication, or other relevant technical experience.
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster local and cross-functional relationships
  • A leader with the ability to clearly communicate objectives
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to interpret guidelines and adapt them in a manner consistent with Group standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Office Suite, and PowerPoint

The range for this position is $78,899.00 to $131,499.00 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
