Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or guest services is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in using front desk software systems and phone systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest relations
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
