Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk / General Administrative
Location: Holtville
Compensation: Commensurate to Experience
Reports To: Office Manager
Category: Full-time / Seasonal
Heritage Farms, a growing farm business specializing in field crops such as spring mix and spinach, has an opening for an Accounts Payable / General Administrative.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will process invoices, manage expense reports, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and be a team player; prior agricultural business experience preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting.
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, organized and time efficient.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviewing, entering, and uploading invoices into Quickbooks system. Ensuring all appropriate coding, documentation, and approvals are met.
Prepare a monthly summary of Credit Card charges. Ensuring all supporting receipts are matched.
Address vendor inquiries and disputes.
Respond to inquiries in person, in writing, or by phone, providing exceptional customer service.
Correct invalid or incorrect data as necessary.
Contact internal managers, purchasing staff, and vendors to rectify billing issues and reconcile statements.
Audit invoices or bills for accuracy and compliance against purchase orders and requisitions.
Performs other related duties.
