POSITION TITLE: Family Services Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be responsible for the overall operation of the Family Services programs including the implementation, evaluation, supervision of staff, monitoring of subcontractor services, contract compliance, and evaluation.
• Be responsible for management of services at all HYC locations, which may also include management of services provided at various sites within the community.
• Monitor the fulfillment of the contract, including accurate and timely documentation of all service activities, preparation and submission of contract reports, and monitor outcome performance and unit compliance with all contract requirements in accordance with Federal, State, County, City and agency quality assurance guidelines.
• Supervise the performance and activities of all staff and program services including individual, group, and family counseling, and parenting and case management services.
• Be the central point of contact for the County regarding the program and its services to the community.
• Collaborate with Clinical Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation, training, documentation, and audit preparedness for all contracts.
• In coordination with finance department, provide budgetary oversight of program administration and ensure program revenue and expenses are within the adopted annual budget.
• Attend and support all County Department and program related external meetings.
• Oversee training and cross training for staff and ensure all staff are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and deadlines.
• Participate in trainings and webinars as required.
• Represent the Agency in the Community by participating in collaborative, interagency coalitions, and community organizations to address critical issues related to promoting safe and stable families in Southeast Los Angeles County.
• Attend assigned meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s in counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
• Current and active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate/Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Demonstrate previous experience in the supervision and management of direct service personnel and community programs.
• Experience in community-based services programs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and on weekends.
• Should be able to effectively communicate, in English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively work with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to pass background check and criminal clearance.
• Valid California drivers license, current auto insurance, and a good driving record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in general office procedures and operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft program applications.
