Job Summary:

You will be responsible for overseeing both IT services and revenue cycle functions to meet the needs of client hospitals effectively. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure the profitability of the account while maintaining excellent client relationships and resolving issues promptly. You will be accountable for identifying risks, optimizing staff performance, and achieving business goals. Additionally, your role will include revenue cycle responsibilities to ensure efficient financial operations and maximize revenue for the account.

Essential Functions/Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the effective and efficient delivery of IT services and revenue cycle operations to meet the requirements of client hospitals.
  • Assist in achieving and maintaining account profitability, meeting revenue, and margin targets set at the corporate level.
  • Ensure the effective management of the client relationship, promptly resolving client issues related to both IT services and revenue cycle.
  • Continuously identify and escalate potential risks, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  • Optimize staff utilization and performance to achieve milestones, goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while fostering motivation and competence.
  • For roles with direct reports, adhere to defined standard accountabilities set by Allscripts for managing and developing team members.
  • Oversee revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and reimbursement, to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue maximization.
  • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance and development to team members, addressing any performance issues promptly.
  • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure an effective mix of competencies within the department.
  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire high performance among team members.
  • Allocate workloads efficiently to leverage each employee's talent and expertise.
  • Implement development plans and provide coaching to help individuals reach their full potential.
  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent within the department.
  • Regularly communicate company news and team progress against the business plan to foster a sense of team spirit.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant business experience.

Work Experience:

  • Preferred: 8 years of relevant work experience, with 2-3 years at the Expert level or equivalent experience.

Additional Work Experience:

  • Preferred: 2-5 years of experience in information technology management and revenue cycle operations.

Management Experience:

  • Preferred: 2-4 years of relevant leadership experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in both IT services and revenue cycle management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities for managing client interactions.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Understanding of revenue cycle processes and best practices.

Working Arrangements:

  • The standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements.
  • Primarily works in a standard office environment.
  • May require after-hours, on-call support.
  • During peak times, including the end of month/quarter/year, on-call and after-hours work may be necessary.
