Family Support Specialist Position

We are focused on the prevention of child abuse and child neglect through our client offered voluntary programs.
We are looking for Family Support Specialists for our Healthy Families of St Joseph County program.
The starting pay is $14.00 per hour - $15.00 per hour depending on educational level, and we offer an extensive full benefits package. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with flexible hours to fit your needs after the initial training process. You will work out of the office 2 days per week for the training process, then 1 day at week after training.
Associates degree is preferred and has a starting pay of $14.50. High School Diploma is required.

In normal environments, the position conducts home visits with families enrolled in the Healthy Families program. Documentation is completed from your home or a location of your choosing after the initial training process. The agency has been blessed with community support and have been able to provide and conduct emergency doorstep drops monthly to families in our programs. These include basic need items, cleaning supplies, diapers, diaper wipes, formula, and crafts. As a home visitor you find this position is rewarding and gratifying. You will serve families with children pre-natal to 5 years of age.
