Healthcare Support is Hiring a Senior Pharmacy Technician Near Houston, TX
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with one of the Fortune 500 company in Houston, TX.
Daily Responsibilities for Senior Pharmacy Technician:
- Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information.
- Process prescriptions and answer phone calls.
- Ability to collaborate with pharmacists and nurses daily.
- Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Pulling and staging the medications for compounding.
- Understanding of USP797 sterile guidelines.
- May need to stock medications as needed.
- May need to assist with labeling and organizing medications and supplies as needed.
- May need to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously as needed.
- May include other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
- Clear and Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas
- 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Ability to multitask and comfortable with lifting 30 lbs.
