Health System Services is Hiring a Regional Account Manager Near Concord, NC

As a Regional Account Manager you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth within the skilled nursing arena. With a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, this role requires a blend of sales acumen, healthcare expertise, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service. The Regional Account Manager will leverage existing sales and service touchpoints to cultivate strong customer relationships and grow sales.

About the Position

  • Focus on Long Term Care settings including rehab and nursing facilities, group homes, outpatient clinics, and home health.
  • Drive sales growth by proactively identifying new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and converting prospects into long-term clients within the skilled nursing sector.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to optimize retention and strategically upsell additional products and services. Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions to meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the skilled nursing market. Utilize market insights to develop strategic sales plans and adapt tactics accordingly.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio, with a focus on durable medical equipment such as low air loss mattresses, respiratory equipment, wheelchairs, and patient safety and lift equipment. Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications to drive adoption and usage.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and in-service presentations for clients and healthcare professionals. Ensure clients are proficient in product utilization and provide ongoing support as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, customer service, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and deliver optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using a CRM system.
  • Generate reports and forecasts to monitor performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the quote preparation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle order processing and diligently follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively generate sales leads through networking and outreach efforts.
  • Schedule, plan, and diligently follow up on sales appointments to maximize opportunities.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline, prioritizing effectively and driving towards successful outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both existing accounts and prospects within the assigned territory, fostering trust and loyalty.

Qualifications for Success

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 2-5 years of proven success in healthcare sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledgeable about support services commonly used in the skilled nursing environment e.g., oxygen concentrators, low air loss mattresses, wheelchairs, and patient safety and lift equipment.
  • Familiarity with the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Compensation

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, commission plan, opportunity for bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and an extensive benefits package. Successful Account Managers have the potential to earn between $65,000 - $80,000 in their first year.
