Job Description
Job Description: Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments. This is a manual process that is on the way to becoming streamlined. This client is looking for someone who can help implement processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Help implement processes and procedures
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Process payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Manage the Accounts Payable email inbox
Qualifications:
- 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Previous experience working with AP ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
