Your new role
Based in the NYC Office, the Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Manager will work with cross-disciplinary teams and take a lead role in representing the Firm, designing large projects, preparing reports, specifications and providing the necessary technical leadership across your electrical scope of work. Overseeing projects from kick off to construction administration, you will be a highly collaborative stakeholder who also plays an important role in the mentorship and training of others.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 7 years' experience with an Engineering Consulting firm. You will enjoy the responsibility of getting into the detailed design and technical direction of your project, providing advice, forecasting risks & challenges and solving problems as they arise throughout each phase. You will have at least 3 years of supervisory experience with a smaller team and be a confident client facing Senior Engineer or Project Manager. A Professional Engineering License or EIT is highly preferred. The Electrical division designs everything from reliable power infrastructure, lighting and controls, telecommunications and vertical transportation, working in sync with the Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection / Life Safety teams, contractors, clients and consultants. While you don't need to be an expert in all project types, a range of airports / transportation facilities, data centers, healthcare / hospitals and commercial buildings will be prevalent.
