The leadership team of Glendale Hospitality, which manages a collection of high standard, high-quality food and beverage establishments in Chapel Hill, NC, is in search of an Administrative Assistant. The AA will report to the two Managing Partners of Glendale Hospitality and the Director of Operations. 

The AA’s responsibilities will include both regular, recurring duties as well as a variety of odd jobs as they arise. The EA will work on a part-time, salaried basis. This person must have reliable transportation. The company will provide a company-property laptop on which to execute the responsibilities of the job. 

AA duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Meeting scheduling
• Marketing mailing list management
• “info@” email filtration and distribution or response 
• Assistance with restaurant decor upkeep
• Light landscaping maintenance (watering plants)
• Odd jobs such as mailing packages, etc.

Qualities and skills should include:

• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Satisfaction in a job well done, no matter how small
• Commitment to excellence
• Sense of humor appreciated but not required. Professional development opportunities will be available in this area. 
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts.
• 1 years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work on feet for five hours at a time.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead onto high shelves.
• Advanced time management experience.
• Friendly, open disposition.
• Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed.
•  Willingness to work some holidays.
