Job Title: Junior Estimator
Supervisor: Construction Estimator
Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Junior Estimator to join our estimating team. This candidate will play a crucial role in preparing estimates for new projects as well as ensuring cost control measures are being met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Please note other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality take-offs from drawings.
- Prepare proposals.
- Prepare preliminary construction budgets.
- Prepare bid packages.
- Review plans and issue RFIs.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes.
Experience:
- A high degree of knowledge in blueprint reading, Microsoft Excel and On-Screen Takeoff is required.
- Proficient in Procore (preferred)
- Experience working with Bluebeam
