Job Duties :
The successful candidate will be expected to :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Self-Direction Reimbursement Specialists.
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of reimbursements.
- Communicate with staff, participants, families, and brokers for necessary clarification when reviewing reimbursements.
- Provide resolution for disputed invoices.
- Provide Quality Review / Training for staff as needed.
Education :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a human service or finance field is preferred.
- Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Work Experience Requirements : A minimum of five years working in the human services field. Education may be considered in lieu of this requirement.
A minimum of three years supervisory experience is required.
Knowledge : OPWDD Policies and Procedures; Independent Living Philosophy and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Financial acumen.
Mathematical, Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
Skills : Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent customer service. Interpersonal, computer and organization skills.
Ability to make decisions independently. Problem solving. Ability to work with diverse individuals. Manage uncomfortable situations.
