Job Title: Experienced Construction Estimator

Job Description:

E&S construction is a family owned and operated construction company operating since 1980 is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator and Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating construction projects accurately and managing projects from start to finish. You should have advanced experience in both construction project management and estimating. This position is full-time and requires at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and other documents to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project estimates and work.
• Manage construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing subcontractors.
• Communicate project progress to clients, and senior management.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other meetings as needed to ensure accurate project estimates and progress.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and project plans.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software as well as take off software if preferred
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Pay: $71,892.13 - $107,000.00 per year
