Are you a seasoned Property Manager with a knack for organization and a passion for excellence? We're on the lookout for a meticulous individual to take the reins in overseeing properties across the vibrant NW/SW DC area, along with Montgomery & Prince George's Counties in MD. As one of our Property Managers, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining owner relations, coordinating property maintenance, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will boast a robust background in residential property management, coupled with stellar administrative skills and top-notch communication abilities. If you're ready to dive into a role where your expertise meets opportunity, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Seamlessly manage all facets of property operations, from leasing to rent collection, with a focus on fostering positive owner & tenant relationships.
  • Manage the maintenance coordinator in executing timely property repairs and upkeep, prioritizing tenant satisfaction and safety.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to uphold stringent maintenance and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, delivering exceptional customer service and swift conflict resolution.
  • Maintain meticulous records of property-related activities, from leases to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing efforts, leveraging platforms like the MLS and our Appfolio system.
  • Review all screened applications and verify the professional assessments are in alignment with company policies, upholding leasing standards and fair housing regulations.
  • Enforce lease agreements and stay abreast of evolving housing laws, guaranteeing legal compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of owner financial reports and updates, contributing valuable insights and analyses.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations, actively participating in mandatory trainings and meetings, both in-person and virtually.
  • Maintain an active Real Estate license in DC and MD.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an Active Real Estate License in Washington DC and MD. VA is not required initially but it is preferred, and will be required at a later date.
  • Proven track record with 3-5 years of experience in Single or Multi-Family Property Management.
  • Proficient in property management software, such as Appfolio.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with owners, tenants, vendors, and staff with exceptional customer service.
  • In-depth knowledge of fair housing regulations and Section 8 programs for DC and MD, ensuring ethical and legal practices.
  • Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and contract management, facilitating efficient property upkeep.
  • Possession of a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle for property visits and inspections.
