We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving sales of our DME products and managing a team of sales representatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the sales team to achieve targets
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans for market expansion
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key accounts and healthcare professionals
  • Identifies and capitalizes on market trends and growth opportunities
  • Conducts market research and analysis
  • Collaborates with marketing and product development teams
  • Monitors sales performance metrics and provides feedback
  • Remains updated on industry developments and regulations
  • Represents the company at industry events
  • Ensures clear communication of sales strategies
  • Executes growth strategies and defines strategic plans
  • Assists in website development and maintenance
  • Holds team members accountable to sales targets
  • Coordinates company-sponsored events

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires, trains, and develops staff
  • Organizes and oversees the work of the department
  • Establishes goals, refines strategies to achieve goals, mentors, and coaches team members 
  • Holds staff accountable to productivity expectations, organization policies and best practices
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate 
  • Conducts regular meetings with staff
  • Handles corrective action and termination of staff as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Plans and monitors department budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. Related experience may substitute for the education requirement
  • Five-years related experience required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • General working knowledge of computer systems
  • Maintains a professional image at all times while demonstrating commitment to our mission and values
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the position
  • Strong knowledge base with social media opportunities
  • Ability to travel as necessary to support sales function, up to 25% of the time
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle
