We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in our mission to enrich lives. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive range of DME products to healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and individual patients.

As an Account Manager at Handi Medical, you will:

  • Sustain call cycles with key customers, partners, and contacts, and maintains existing relationships while targeting new business opportunities
  • Display at trade shows and exhibits to optimize Handi Medical Supply’s exposure in the community
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals and communicate new product and service opportunities, while demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge
  • Follow up on new referrals resulting from field activity, and identifies and resolves customer concerns
  • Partner with all teams to promote all product lines to ensure the proper orders and medical records are obtained
  • Work with Handi Medical leaders in determining business direction
  • Target growth areas, develop strategy for implementation
  • Ensure marketing plan will meet both professional and business goals of expanding the customer base
  • Work with teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and goals
  • Collaborate with Handi Medical team members in the organization of the annual Handi Educational Conference to include site selection, speaker selection, organization, and communication of the event
  • Respond to written customer inquiries regarding account status within established guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Related experience may substitute for the education requirement
  • Two-years related experience required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • General working knowledge of computer systems
  • Maintains a professional image at all times while demonstrating commitment to out mission and values

Physical Requirements:

  • May have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to sit and drive up to 8 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Occasional exposure to extreme cold, heat, infectious disease, and uneven surfaces
