Description

The Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues
• Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and maintenance work needed
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Strong technical background and ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat for repairs and inspections.
• Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership
