Hana Technologies, Inc. is Hiring a Director of Information Technology Near Solon, OH

Position Summary:
The Director of Information Technology will lead Hana’s technology transformation through executing and contributing to the overall stable operation of Hana’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, ERP implementation, website, and data communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field
  • 5 years IT administration and/or manufacturing experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations within manufacturing/plant environment or senior management role preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide leadership & direction to develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, & continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of the networking platform & direct all IT system, network, & website troubleshooting.
  • Develop strategy to balance current & future needs for availability, performance & capacity of IT systems & infrastructure through the forecast of future performance & capacity requirements based on business & IT strategies.
  • Provide thought-leadership regarding application & procurement of new & emergent technologies along with superior implementation skills that brings solution-ready technology quickly & effectively to the manufacturing floor & other departments.
  • Oversee established IT policies & objectives within the organization & update/modify as necessary to ensure efficient operation of individual departments & compliance with quality systems & certifications i.e. IATF-16949, ISO 14001
  • Direct & lead collaborative Hana initiatives with other key stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Oversee systems infrastructure operations for installation/configuration of new systems, servers, verification of scheduled jobs, & ensuring backup/recovery monitoring of systems.
  • Oversee & manage daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems & system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, & media is recycled & sent off-site as necessary & assure backup data/systems are available as necessary.
  • Implement & enforce security measures to safeguard Hana IT assets & data while ensuring system interruptions, intrusions, attacks, & breaches are prevented.
  • Ensure Hana IT systems comply with industry regulations & cybersecurity standards.
  • Execute projects on time & within budget, meeting specified quality standards.
  • Develop, execute, & maintain a local & off-site disaster recovery plan.
  • Establish & maintain effective relationships with IT vendors & service providers.
  • Provide training & professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP & data protocols
  • ERP Blueprinting & Migration (familiarity/experience with Acumatica preferred)
  • Factory Application / Cloud Architecture
  • Digital Quality Management
  • Cloud Data Analytics
  • IT Security Transformation
  • LAN and WAN redesign
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production & logistics processes
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, & emerging technologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in UNIX & Microsoft.
  • Hardware Knowledge (including but not limited to): Cisco Routers, Switches & Access Points, Cisco IP Telephony, Desktops, Laptops, Servers, Laser Printers, Barcode Printers & Scanners
  • Software Knowledge (including but not limited to): Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - 2016, Active Directory, Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype, Cisco IOS
  • Strong interpersonal skills & demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments & with senior leadership.
