Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting data analysis, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory control. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Duties: - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment - Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage inventory movement - Analyze demand patterns and historical data to forecast future inventory needs - Collaborate with category management teams to optimize product assortment and availability - Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss or damage - Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to inventory management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve materials management processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred) - Proven experience in inventory control or materials management - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL or other data analysis tools - Knowledge of demand planning principles and techniques - Familiarity with logistics processes and procedures - Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Nielsen, SAP) - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
