Venteon Finance is currently seeking an Accountant for a leading manufacturing company located in the Detroit area. This position is responsible for supporting the Finance organization's month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting and financial reporting activities. Maintaining records of organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Requirements of the Accountant
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Desire to obtain CPA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Financial Statements
- Advanced PC proficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
