We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! As the Grants & Strategic Initiatives Administrator in the Office of Addiction Response here with Hamilton County, you are the linchpin in our efforts against the addiction crisis. You orchestrate meetings for the Hamilton County Addiction Response Coalition and OneOhio Funding, shaping policies, crafting funding applications, and setting agendas. Your dynamic role extends to policy implementation, resource coordination, and managing service providers, all while developing recommendations to combat the opioid epidemic comprehensively. You identify service gaps, consult with stakeholders, and collaborate on strategies to address the opioid crisis. With a focus on fiscal operations, you oversee HC ARC awarded grants, ensuring budgets are prepared and monitored. Crucially, you play a key role in securing public and private funding to tackle the addiction crisis in Hamilton County, making a lasting impact on our community.
Summary of Job Duties:
  • End to end grant management and oversee all grant facets.
  • Shape and execute the OneOhio Region 2 Agenda while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Identify prospective funding and execute crafting and submitting grant applications.
  • Develop and Oversee budgets for Office of Addiction Response.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current on trends in the field of grant administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field
  • three (3) years’ experience in grants management, grants application process, contract review, and budgeting
  • three (3) years of project management experience or equivalent combinations of education, training and/or experience which evidences a comprehensive knowledge of grants management and contract review.
Work Location and Hours:
  • 138 East Court St. Cincinnati, Oh. 45202
  • 24 Hour Work Week, generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30
