Survey Crew Member – Tampa, Florida
Halff has a current opening for a Survey Crew Member in our Tampa, Florida location.
This position will be on a field crew assisting the survey crew by operating conventional and GPS survey equipment to measure topographic features and boundary evidence accurately and efficiently in support of FDOT design, land development, utility, energy, and land general surveying projects.

Survey Crew Member Requirements:
- Must have a valid Florida Driver's License.
- Willing to work outside in the heat and cold, cut line with a machete or a brush axe, work in and around water at times.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy. There is very little room for error in this position.
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
- Must be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance.
- Must be able to start work at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
- Must be available for overnight travel which may be up to one week at a time.
