Position Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and streamlining the operational aspects of the business. This senior role involves developing an in-depth understanding of the entire business and its processes, setting strategic goals, and ensuring their effective implementation. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a strong alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Expertise

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive overview of all business operations and processes.
• Ensure organizational efficiency by continuously evaluating and improving operational systems.

Values and Standards

• Set and enforce the company’s operational standards based on its core values.
• Oversee the hiring and termination of staff in alignment with these values.

Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage budgets for each department to enhance financial performance and contribute to the company's bottom line.

Leadership Management

• Communicate operational strategies and changes to management teams.
• Follow up with leaders to ensure strategies are implemented effectively and without impediments.

Performance Metrics

• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for different departments and oversee the recording processes.
• Regularly review and analyze weekly KPI results to ensure achievement of operational goals.

Strategic Development

• Translate visionary ideas into detailed, actionable strategies before presentation to the team.
• Refine these strategies based on team feedback and operational realities.

Operational Simplification

• Implement systems to log operational issues and use this data to streamline processes.
• Communicate with managers across departments to identify and address areas needing improvement.
• Document and implement simplified operations, ensuring all relevant parties are trained and informed.

Travel and Engagement:

• Travel regularly between our three locations to maintain a hands-on understanding of day-to-day operations.
• Utilize insights gained from on-site engagement to make informed decisions that support and advance our overarching goals.

Flexibility and Remote Work:

• Begin with an in-depth training period to gain a thorough understanding of our processes and culture.
• Enjoy the flexibility of working partially remote, balancing autonomy with connectivity to our teams across all locations.
• Operate independently while maintaining strong communication links with team members at each of our locations.
• As we are a start up and this is a new position for us, hours may vary as needed to achieve goals and give candidate flexibility in their life.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
