Hale Partners, A local General Contracting company in the Honolulu are is interviewing qualified candidates!
Small General Contractor in East Honolulu is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Residential Project Team as an Assistant Project Manager.This position is challenging, fast paced and will require acute attention to detail to be effective and efficient with both your and our team's time.
Ability to utilize IT tools is imperative. We use MS Office Products as well as Adobe Pro and a Web Based Project Management tool to conduct our daily business. The qualified candidate will have the knowledge base to support the team with these tools out of the gate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
Communication is a key to success. We ask questions to avoid costly mistakes and profit bleeds on our project. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for communication with team members, vendors and periodically clients as appropriate. The preferred candidate will have the capability to communicate both in written and verbal to navigate meetings and project coordination activities.
Personal Vehicle is required, driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Project Manager and Construction Team in any and all job and project-related activities
- Prepare Project Meeting Agenda / Record Meeting Minutes
- Maintaining Electronic and Paper Filing systems - Documentation
- Maintaining Job Site Plans / Binders
- Prepare and Maintain Project Selection Specification Files
- Assist in performing daily/general duties
- General clerical duties including photocopying, mailing,
- Maintain office supply inventories on project sites
- Schedule and coordinate meetings when needed
- Retrieve documents upon request
- Directly help the Senior Project Manager and other staff with requests at the direction of the Project Manager
- Retrieve Mail from UPS / PO box
- Effectively organize your time, the office, and any tasks that are given
- Assist in the management of Project Schedules
- Become Familiar with Architectural drawings to assist Senior Project Manager with Construction Team Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Assist PMs with scheduling and notifying stakeholders of deadlines.
- Procurement Tracking of materials and shipping dates for project planning and scheduling.
