Hadco Metal Trading Co. LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Hadco products include plates, sheets, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjets, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears. 

Hadco facilities are located strategically in New York, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and California with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing a nationwide presence and coverage for next day delivery. 

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our US Corporate Headquarters financial team in Bensalem, PA. This key role includes posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, bi-weekly payroll, and preparing financial reports. 

Role & Responsibilities:  

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing expenses and payroll records.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting. 
• 1-2 years’ experience in a professional accounting role. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
