**Job Title: Bartender**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant team. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Greet customers warmly and engage with them to determine their beverage preferences.
2. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to recipes and customer preferences.
3. Maintain a well-stocked bar by ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies and ingredients.
4. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
5. Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
6. Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary supplies at all times.
7. Provide attentive and friendly customer service, making recommendations and answering questions about beverages and menu items.
8. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
9. Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies regarding responsible beverage service.
10. Collaborate with other bar staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
2. Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer, and serving wine.
3. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages.
7. Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations.
8. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) is preferred, but not required.
