Your Role:

As a Bartender at Buzzard's Roost, you'll go beyond pouring drinks - you'll curate moments and exceed expectations with your dynamic service.

• Crafting cocktails with precision and flair, tailored to each guest's preferences.
• Providing guests with recommendations from our extensive whiskey and cocktail menu.
• Serving responsibly and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
• Acting as a knowledgeable resource for both guests and team members, sharing insights about our whiskeys and spirited drinks.
• Managing sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Maintaining high service standards, welcoming guests warmly and engaging them in friendly conversation.
• Creating Buzzard's Roost signature cocktails with professionalism and creativity.
• Contributing to cocktail recipe development and innovation, enhancing our offerings with proprietary bitters, syrups, and more.
• Representing the Buzzard's Roost brand at internal and external events as needed.
• Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are upheld in your work area.
• Staying informed about community attractions and events to assist guests with recommendations.

All the Other Stuff We Do:

In addition to your core responsibilities, you'll assist with:

• Bar inventory management, including liquid, supplies, and mixers.
• Administrative duties and collaboration on activation plans.
• Supporting your team members and adapting to fluctuating demands.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• T.A.R Certification.
• Certification as a Bourbon Steward through Stave and Thief, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 3 years bartending experience, with at least 1 year working with POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
