**Job Overview:**
As a Human Resource Coordinator/Generalist, you will be responsible for assisting in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. This role is essential in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring HR processes run smoothly.**Responsibilities:**
1. **Recruitment Support:** Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and coordinating onboarding activities.
2. **Employee Relations:** Address employee inquiries and concerns, maintain employee records, and assist with conflict resolution and disciplinary actions as needed.
3. **Benefits Administration:** Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
4. **HR Policies and Compliance:** Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
5. **Training and Development:** Coordinate and support employee training and development programs, including orientation for new hires and ongoing training initiatives.
6. **Payroll Support:** Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including data entry and verification.
7. **HR Reporting:** Prepare HR reports and maintain HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
8. **Employee Engagement:** Assist in organizing and promoting employee engagement activities and initiatives.
9. **Documentation and Record-Keeping:** Maintain HR records, personnel files, and other confidential information in compliance with data privacy laws.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience can be substituted for education
- Previous experience in HR coordination or generalist role is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
