We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Worker. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives. Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (if needed).
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments and assist with transportation needs
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Document individual progress and any incidents or changes in behavior

Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care, group home, or related fields is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.35 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
