Available Shifts: Overnights 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Starting Salary: $17.00 per hour

Come join our team! Journey Services LLC is currently hiring direct support professionals to work with adults with developmental disabilities in our Independent Living Homes in the East Valley.

Responsibilities

• Assist and mentor individuals with daily living skills such as personal/home cleanliness, meal preparation, budgeting and shopping.
• Assist with planning & participating in fun, engaging activities at home and in the community.
• Assist individuals in working towards their personal goals (i.e. personal care skills, preparing a meal, learning electronics or improving social skills)
• Transport individuals to community outings and events
• Mentor individuals to become independent and support in advocating for themselves.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Obtain a Class-1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Obtain certification in CPR, First Aid and Article 9
• Reliable Transportation with proof of Arizona Driver's License, Current Vehicle Registration & Insurance
• Ability to transport members in own vehicle as needed

Experience

• Previous caregiving experience and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!

• Mesa, AZ 85201: Reliably commute to job and be able and willing to transport in own vehicle as needed. (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Arizona Driver's License (Required)
