Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Duties:

- Assist individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities

- Follow all applicable HIPAA regulations to protect individual privacy

Requirements:

- Experience working with individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred

- Knowledge of systems for working with people with autism is a plus

- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

- Familiarity with medication administration protocols

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

- Must be able to pass background checks and meet all state licensing requirements for direct care workers
