Job Title: School Financial Analyst

Summary:
The School Financial Analyst at National Heritage Academies (NHA) plays a crucial role in supporting school and student needs by monitoring, analyzing, and advising on budget decisions for multiple funding sources. Reporting to the Manager of School Finance, this role ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, applies for grant awards, and monitors budgets. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving skills, top-notch organizational abilities, and a passion for customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school leadership to develop, review, and adjust school budgets
• Monitor spending against budgets and provide timely updates for proactive decision-making
• Ensure accurate reporting of financial statements and spending
• Maintain expertise on relevant laws and regulations
• Create and submit grant applications based on school and student needs
• Advocate for schools' needs with relevant stakeholders
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Provide solutions to complex situations
• Assist with audits as needed
• Maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

• 2 years of financial statement analysis and budget experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred
• Self-directed and highly motivated
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,291.19 per year
