Assistant Store Manager (Full-Time) - Longmont, Colorado
Guiry’s, a local retailer of paint, decorating and fine art supplies is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager in our Longmont, Colorado location.

Family-owned and operated since 1899, Guiry’s has been one of Metro Denver’s premier paint, art and design retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service.

Our Assistant Store Managers work closely with the Store Manager, contractors and retail customers.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager include:

• Performing as acting manager when Store Manager is not present
• Assisting store manager in ensuring all management duties are accomplished
• Assisting customers with colors and all necessary supplies for their projects
• Mixing and matching colors
• Loading and unloading trucks with product
• Stock merchandise – rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed
• Handle credit and cash transactions
• Maintain store cleanliness
• Flexibility and helping in all departments
• Position requires working at least one weekend day per week. You must have availability during all regular store hours and your schedule may vary based on the needs of the store to ensure appropriate coverage.

Qualifications include:

• Prior management experience preferred and at least one year of retail experience required.
• Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• BS/BA preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience delivering excellent customer service (retail environment required).
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lead and motivate team to meet company goals.
• Honest and ethical.
• Self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and neat appearance.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs.
• Must complete the required assessment(s)

Compensation:

This is a Full-Time hourly position earning between $18-$22-/hour.
