Overview

Group O has an immediate opening for a Production Lead. The Production Lead will partner with the provisioning, shipping -receiving, and operations management team to ensure all projects are run according to established work instructions, policies, and procedures in order to meet customer expectations and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department meets safety, quality, and provisioning goals as defined by the management team.
• Assist management team with set up, running and shut down of provisioning projects to include (but not limited to) FAI, inspection, provisioning, shipping, receiving, and troubleshooting.
• Validation and reporting of discrepancies and non-conforming product following department procedures.
• Work Instruction validation.
• Inform management of relevant work issues.
• Assist with production planning and other tasks in order to utilize resources efficiently.
• Practice and promote standard work.
• Assist with training and motivation of the team in order to promote efficiency and identify process failures.
• Suggest ways to improve processes and quality.
• Assist with material handling and asset control as required.
• Other job duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Training:

• As assigned by management

Skills:

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of performing normal warehouse duties and functions including bending, walking, standing, sitting and lifting for extended periods of time
• Ability to pass forklift training and maintain forklift license when assigned
• Working familiarity with Excel, Word and Outlook

Experience:

• 2 years related work experience

• Bi-lingual helpful but not required
