Responsibilities
The Financial Analystis responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions of the organization. This role plays a vital part in providing financial insights, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making processes to drive the company’s financial performance and growth.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze financial and operational data to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial health, current industry trends, and market conditions to support strategic initiatives, operational decisions, and capital allocation opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the company’s cash flow forecasting, annual budget, and long-term projections in order to ensure accurate financial planning and allocation of resources.
- Create professionally presented financial models, reports, charts, narratives, and slides, as needed, effectively highlighting critical information for senior management.
- Build strong relationships with senior management and act as a trusted advisor to department heads and in order to clearly and accurately communicate financial information.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis processes.
Qualifications
- High level of integrity and ethical behavior, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis at a large corporation or firm. A background in a Big 4 firms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and financial modeling techniques. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, knowledge of Oracle HFM, Essbase, ERP, and EPM Planning is a plus.
