JOB TITLE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT FINANCE/ACCOUNTING
JOB TYPE FULL-TIME/EXEMPT
REPORTS TO CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing invoices, weekly pay runs, expense & mileage report analysis and reimbursements, and month-end close tasks, as well as participating in year-end audit.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Accurately and timely book invoices across a multi-company environment
? Accurately process weekly expense reports using Concur and enter data into Great Plains
? Weekly payment of invoices and reimbursements via EFT, ACH, and wires
? Follow up and resolve vendor discrepancies and inquiries
? Assist with year-end 1099 preparation
? Provide internal customer service regarding mileage reimbursement policy questions
? Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
? Support year-end close for the AP function
? Assist with cash transaction entries
? Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
? Minimum 2 years of related work experience in accounting role
? Experience with Great Plains, Integration Manager, and Concur is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Proficient with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
? Proactive
? Ability to learn independently
? Analytical eye and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to meet critical deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
