Green Wave Ingredients/Ingredients Online is Hiring a Director of eCommerce Near Cerritos, CA

A director of ecommerce for Ingredients Online orchestrates all aspects of the ecommerce strategy for the brand. This role combines marketing, sales, technology, and management expertise to develop strategies that deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for customers. The director of ecommerce is responsible for cross-functional collaboration to manage and direct all aspects of the ecommerce business, including building, planning, developing, and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance.

Responsibilities:

Marketing

•Lead a team of marketing professionals that cover the areas of creative design, campaign strategy, event planning, marketing operations, lead generation, and digital user acquisition.

•Serve as the creative director for all campaigns, ensuring that deliverables meet the company’s overall brand vision.

•Collaborate with team leads to execute and analyze marketing campaigns, pivoting strategies as needed.

•Oversee SEO and PAID user acquisition and work with SEM manager/s to ensure positive trajectory of all online metrics, including traffic, domain authority, average rankings, cost per click, and all relevant conversion metrics.

•Collaborate with upper management and team leaders to develop yearly marketing plans and department budgets.

•Manage all marketing-related budgets to control customer acquisition costs.

Sales

•Co-lead multiple sales teams, covering both buyer and seller business development needs.

•Create a synergistic environment between sales and marketing to ensure a united outreach strategy.

•Collaborate with sales managers to create brand-approved outreach templates and sales campaigns.

•Leverage sales thought-leadership to influence strategies, continuously analyzing the performance of sales outreach.

Technology

•Serve as the primary stakeholder in all customer-facing software development.

•Collaborate with in-house technology team- including product owners, project managers, solutions architects, and developers to create user features that solve industry pain points.

•Analyze feature adoption rates and create strategies to increase conversions.

•Develop strong e-commerce technology knowledge to stay up-to-date with digital trends

•Analyze competitor platforms to continuously set and maintain industry standards for digital marketplaces

Qualifications:

•Must be a seasoned professional in an e-commerce market, with business-to-business (B2B) experience. Business-to-consumer (B2C) experience is a plus.

•Must have extensive knowledge of ecommerce technologies and tactics, especially in product experience management (PXM), digital asset management (DAM), and sophisticated digital shelf analytics.

•Must be a self-described data expert with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new ecommerce strategies.

•Must be a proven leader with experience both managing multiple, medium-large cross-functional teams and executing large ecommerce projects.

•Must demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills.

•Must have the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate the highest-impact initiatives.

•Must have proven success developing, executing, and maintaining sophisticated digital commerce brand strategies by leveraging ecommerce platforms, successful delivery of business value, and near/mid-term growth for the brand
